- God will work by ordinary means to fulfill His word
- Informing the magistrate of planned evil protected Paul from the plotting of the Jews
- Christ told Paul he would speak before the emperor, and no act of man was able to prevent this
- In all ways, Paul acted honorably and was able to recount this at the court, that he believed in the truth of the Law and the Prophets
- We should be able to say the same of ourselves, that we believe all of what is recorded in God's word
- Our standing and conscience before God is of paramount importance, as it was to Paul
- Not only was Paul honorable while on public trial, but he also was honorable when the temptation to sin was both private and of benefit to his freedom
- But Paul knows instead that he has true liberty in Christ
- We must not continue our lives bound by sin, but remember that we stand before an almighty God who has released our wills.
