Introduction

What is this roadmap?

A theological roadmap represents my thought process behind my theory of God. This is my ontology. This is how I understand the nature of reality and existence, from my own reality and existence. I want to be clear that these days I consider myself a Christian in the tradition of the Particular Baptists, now often called Reformed Baptists, and I hold entirely to the contents of the 1689 Second London Baptist Confession of Faith. I am a presuppositionalist, and I believe that the Bible is the inerrant word of God, and that it is the only source of special revelational knowledge provided by God. However, I also believe that God has provides general revelation through the natural world, and that natural theology is a valid and important part of man's understanding of God, ala Romans 1:19. So it is not without value to discuss the nature of reality and existence, and to try to understand what we can about God through a combination of natural and special revelation.

What is my background?

I was raised in a purportedly Christian home. I want to qualify a few things, and maybe expose myself a bit here. I went to this church growing up. If you read, the beliefs are quite sparse, and may leave some of you very wary. I want to let you know that this church has PLENTY more rules they are not exposing. There are a large set of bylaws that set up various levels of rules, from elder voting structure, to whether or not women could serve communion, to how to spend money inside versus outside of the building. It is not that it is wrong to have a set of rules, in a church congregation, but it is problematic for those laws to be hidden from the average church member. I will boil it down for you: this was a Campbellite church. I would agree with the Reformed tradition of Christians who would generally consider these churches to not have the true gospel of Jesus Christ, therefore, I would not call members of this church "Christians".

By God's providence, I went to Cedarville University for college, my parents not understanding the theological differences, and myself just wanting to escape my original life. It was here that God corrected my fledgling faith and I scraped together much of what I will lay out before you now.

My Ontology

How this is structured?

I will likely want to cycle back to real-world topics I have something to say on. I will title these sections and backport new entries if needed. For example, LLMs will by discussed, as I believe they are significant in the story of humanity, regardless of your philisophical persuasion. Besides, I used one to generate the bear images for this site, so you have now definitely been affected by one, it's time to think about them.
